See Sight Tours · Niagara Falls, NY

A small-group day on the US side

See Sight Tours puts no more than seven people in a van, picks you up on either side of the border and walks you through the boat, the Cave of the Winds, the tower and Goat Island. Pick it for the group size: you hear the guide, you never wait for a bus of 50, and the photos get taken for you.

About this experience

See Sight Tours keeps this one small: seven guests at most, in a van. It collects you from hotels (and, guests report, Airbnbs) in Niagara Falls on either side of the border, and spends about four hours in Niagara Falls State Park. The guided walk covers Goat Island and the Three Sisters Islands, then the Maid of the Mist, the Cave of the Winds and the Observation Tower, all with admission included. Guests name their guides more than the falls, which tells you something.

If you're staying in Canada, remember this is a US-side tour. You cross the Rainbow Bridge to get there, so everyone needs a passport or another accepted land-border document. US citizens can use a passport card, Enhanced Driver's License or NEXUS card; children under 16 a birth certificate. CBP's list is the one to check.

Winter is the soft spot. The listing says the tour runs in all weather but doesn't say what changes when Maid of the Mist closes on November 8, 2026 and the Hurricane Deck comes down. A guest who went in early spring put it plainly: many areas are closed, and that isn't clear in the description, though the guide was upfront. Booking for November to April? Message the operator through Viator and ask what your date includes. And if you're staying right at the park and comfortable alone, another guest's point stands: the two tickets cost about $44 if you buy them yourself.

What guests say

★★★★★

We were extremely fortunate that my daughter and I were the only 2 people on the tour so it was like having our own personal travel guide. We were picked up on time at the designated pick up point. Richard was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, he was helpful and flexible in what we wanted to see and do.

Wear shoes you don't mind to get wet. Pack a small bag to wear under your poncho with dry socks and shoes for after the boat and cave of the winds. Do the boat 1st and safe the blue poncho it's more heavy duty than the yellow one.

We drove in from Philadelphia and honestly didn't know what to expect with navigating the park. We were paired with SILAS from See Sight as our tour guide. Best tour guide EVER! He was very energetic and personable, he told great stories [...]

Tips before you book

  • Do the boat first and keep the blue poncho for the Cave of the Winds. It's sturdier than the yellow one, guests say.
  • Wear a small bag under your poncho with dry socks and shoes for afterwards.
  • Staying in Canada? Have passports in hand at pickup. The van crosses the Rainbow Bridge both ways.
  • Booking November to April? Ask the operator what your date includes before you pay.
  • One guest in 2025 had a split group that needed two van runs. Ask how many are booked if timing matters.

Frequently asked questions

How many people are on the See Sight Tours small-group tour?

Seven at most, in a van. Several guests had the guide to themselves or shared with one other family.

Can I be picked up on the Canadian side?

Yes. The listing offers hotel pickup in Niagara Falls USA or Canada. From Canada you cross the border, so bring a passport or another accepted document; see our passport guide.

Does the tour run in winter?

It runs in all weather, and guests have toured in freezing temperatures. The Maid of the Mist closes on November 8, 2026, and the Cave of the Winds Hurricane Deck is taken down each fall, and the listing doesn't say what replaces them. Ask before booking a winter date.

Is it worth it if I'm staying next to the park?

Honestly, maybe not. The boat costs $30.25 and the Cave of the Winds $23 in summer if you buy them yourself, and the park is easy to walk. You pay for the guide, the small group and the pickup. Our prices guide does the maths.
